  • 2009 Turkey Shoots a Success

Posted on December 3rd, 2009 Ocoee Lions Club No comments

It was another successful year of Ocoee Lions Club turkey shoots. Over 4 turkey shoots, 248 turkey rounds and 13 50/50 rounds were shot. All of the profits from the shoots, the concession and the raffles will go to the charities the Club supports.

Congratulations to Marty Andrews of Ocoee and Mark Herrmann of Lake Mary, who won the two shotgun raffles. Marty won a Charles Daly Special Edition 12 gauge shotgun, and Mark took home a Harrington and Richardson 12 gauge shotgun. Marty is pictured to the left with his new shotgun, and with members of the Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop 198.

Many thanks to the boys and girls of the Future Farmers of America and Boy Scout Troop 198, who helped make the events run smoothly.

Don’t forget we have one more turkey shoot for this year–the Benefit for Wayne Hurst, on December 12.
