Santa and Lions Visit Health Central

On Christmas morning Santa Claus did not forget about the patients in Health Central Hospital. Neither did the Lions members who escorted him around the Hospital. Santa came with a bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and they saw about 75 patients, from the very young to the more mature. Many of those patients expressed much gratitude when Santa came to seem them. St. Nick stopped long enough for a photo with the volunteers, then, laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the elevator and the chimney he rose. Thanks to Bernie and Minnie Wainer, our guides from the Health Central Auxiliary, and to the other volunteers who helped us that morning. Pictured from left to right are Carol Coleman, John, Lion Miriam Baderian, Susan Crouch, Santa Claus, Lion Karyn Kurtz, Lion Steve Van Varick, Minnie Wainer and Lion John Coleman.
