The Ocoee Lions Club are pleased to have recently inducted two new members. Mike Paulin, an Engineer, and Sal Cascio, an Ocoee Business Owner, are now Club members. Pictured, from left to right, are Club President Steve Van Varick, Scott Williams, Sal, Past District Governor Shel Riechard, Mike and Bob Godek.

Since the Club’s chartering in 1948, its members have worked on a variety of projects in the local community. Examples of recent projects include preparing food baskets for Ocoee families for Thanksgiving, organizing and staffing the Ocoee Christmas Parade, and working to restore eyesight and hearing for Ocoee residents who need it.

The Lions Club has over 30 members and meets on the first and third Mondays of the month at the old train station on Taylor Street.
