This year’s Ocoee Lions Club Turkey Shoots will be held on:
    October 8
    October 22
    November 12
    November 26
    December 10
    (All of them Saturdays).

    From 9 am to 4 pm (Sign-ups start @ 8 am)
    $3.00 per shot

In the field at 881 Ocoee-Apopka Rd, beside the West Orange Girls Softball Complex. Look for the sign on the road.

You bring your own shotgun. We provide the shells. We (usually) also have a house shotgun if you don’t have one.

There will be a 50/50, a gun raffle (for a Charles Daly 12 ga semi-auto and a Remington 12 ga shotgun) and a concession stand. See you there!

Proceeds go to local and international charities the Club supports.

For the uninitiated, this is only shooting at paper targets. And one of our fundraisers. The winner of each round of twelve shooters receives either a gift card or a frozen turkey.

UPDATE: October 8 turkey shoot is rained out.

    1. Why so much for the shots…you can buy a turkey for $3.00…and the size of the turkeys you win are small??? I realize it is for the fun..

    2. You’re right, we did raise the cost a bit from $2.50 last year. But we are decreasing the size of our lines, from 12 people to 10. So there is a better chance of winning, and it should make the rounds move quickly. We need to keep a minimum cost to cover our expenses, including the turkeys, the shells, the stands and targets, the tents, trailers, etc. And this is for fun, but it’s also one of our important fundraisers. 100% of the profit we make goes to charity.
