  • Holiday Tradition Continues Through Ocoee

Posted on December 4th, 2012 Ocoee Lions Club No comments

The weather was great this past Saturday for the Ocoee Christmas Parade. The Ocoee High School Marching Knights, the West Orange High School Warrior Marching Band, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and Santa Claus, just to name a few, all appeared and impressed. The Parade was presented by the Ocoee Lions Club in conjunction with the City of Ocoee. Roger Freeman, long-time Ocoee resident, and Gail Paschall-Brown, reporter with WESH 2 News, served as tv hosts. And a large number of toys were donated by Parade entrants for the Ocoee Police Deparment’s Holiday Toys for Kids in Need Program.
